A delivery driver named Glynn Williams denied charges of throwing rocks at 16 vehicles a court heard.

The Dartford based courier threw the rocks “seemingly for his own amusement” and endangered lives while doing it.

There were several incidents reported in the High Weald area of motorists having their windscreens smashed as they drove past a van.  One motorist, Adam Rogers had his windscreen smashed on Golford Road, Cranbrook.  He also suffered a minor cut to his hand.

Williams denied the crimes when arrested and claimed that some local people had made the accusations falsely as they disliked him.
